The crappy thing is the group price was the exact same price as the RCCL web price.  So this was a case where I lost money booking with a TA.  It happens, and going forward I wouldn't apply it to group cruises. I'm saving up for the 1,000,000 point Oasis class cruise they offer around Christmas for sailing in January anyway.

Yes, the casino rate is not ombineable with a group rate.... but we will still give you the others options even if you book at RCCL Blog Group cruise with MEI-Travel.  We don;t want anyone to be left out from the fun!

PSA: 7night MSC cruise released. November 4th out of Miami,  only 25k gold. These will not last.

I noticed this last night.  What a deal!  We considered jumping on it but didn't.  I'm so sick of work and other life responsibilities getting in the way of more cruising?

They have both PC and Mobile versions, the reward points combine, the "Chips" do not. I am a daily player, but, I just play for a few minutes in the morning (Collecting from my strip hotels, and spinning a daily wheel) and again in the evening for a few minutes. I don't play much, but I am consistent. I spent 750,000 reward points for the cabin, and 100,000 for the $250 Shipboard Credit. I still have ~800,000 reward points. I am a level 1011.

how does it all work when using myvegas rewards for the cruise?

For example if I accumulated enough points and decided to purchase onboard credit.

Where do you go to claim that on the ship or how do you go about claiming the onboard credit?

Ok..good to know....haven't seen a "free" cruise offered since about last spring so I wondered. GF and I have about 3.5 million points between us...so hoping to take advantage somehow of all these gold coins!

What is the process when claiming your rewards on myvegas slots?

How and where do you get your onboard credit if thats what you purchased via myvegas rewards?

Any tips or advice to avoid confusion or mistakes?

I just started playing to try and accumulate gold coins to get some onboard credit but have no idea what to do after i claim in on my app?

Once you redeem it, it will give you instructions.  It used to be that you emailed them proof and the code. I think I did that and then called last time. Was super easy, and it shows up in your cruiseplanner right after.

So you would upload or enter the code directly onto your cruise planner? Is there a section on cruise planner to enter a code?

Or do you go through a live representative first then it shows on your cruise planner

The "free?" NCL cruises are insane..$537 per person for a 5 night cruise.....yeah, go pound sand.

Haven't read the small print for  the MSC ones.....

I wish Royal would post something soon...even the $250 OBC offer again as we have 2 cruises booked that we need to do something in the next couple weeks to meet all the timing deadlines

Any tips how to get the lock removed from the LP?.....Just happened this past weekend....really limits the point of the playing and collecting! Of course it happened after I had a huge win playing on Konami.

Wow. I have never had that happen.

I think it is timed, it's annoying but it removes after like 24 hours or something like that I believe.

yes, and then as soon as I reach the 2000 LP again it locks it till the next day.....I know I had seen others comment about this...just wondering if it  eventually  goes away or should I stop using it for a few days or uninstall it......

any experience or knowledge is appreciated.

On a side note, tried to cash in some OBC for my April cruise and they wouldn't apply it as they said it was  "group" booking.....yet my gf was able to credit hers no problem..go figure!

I have been waiting for the 250 OBC but have not seen it for awhile, I have a lot of points accumulated and just booked a cruise a couple days ago for April 2020.  Can I cash in coins and get more than one?  Ha anyone done this.  I have enough for a cruise but that has not come up for awhile for RCCL

I have not been successful in combining more than one reward OR adding to a reservation that I did not originally book through Royal’s Casino Royale.

NCL is crazy..its still like over $500 for the cruise..and it looks like you get NONE of the perks your normally get when sailing with NCL.....I didn't do the math but I am guessing it could cost potentially MORE for the "free" cruise  through MyVegas.

As for Royal...no free cruises..and the $250 OBC hasn't come back since it left......and it takes some work to get the credit applied as they find ways to deny it.....its a group booking or its booked in CAD so we cant apply your credit...

I have over 3,200,000 gold coins and will probably never be able to use them based on my experiences so far.

I took a "free" NCL cruise with my 19 year old son without issue (in Dec. 2018).  I say "free" because NCL hits you with the normal taxes and fees plus another charge for booking through their casino program.  I did however get the "free" beverage package included and my son got the "free" soda package (which we were able to upgrade to their beer/wine package on board).

Overall, it ended up being slightly less than half price for what it would have cost me to book the cruise myself.

It was definitely fun and I would do it again.

Interesting...as it didn't show that you got those perks anywhere I could read in fine print. Its about $600 for the cruise so if that did include the drinks it would be good and for 2 ppl very good then.....good to know.

The only thing that may have changed since I went is that I know that NCL now (and maybe they did before) offers an interior guarantee for cheaper that does not get the perks.  If that is the cabin category they give now with MyVegas then you would be right...I'm thinking you wouldn't get it.  When we went in 2018...we did....but again, not sure if that cabin category was available then or not.

Check out MSC if you ever see them come up as a reward.  They had some absurdly priced "free" cruises this past winter (50,000 loyalty coins for a 7 day cruise).  I hope they bring those back next year.

There was one for 100,000 a couple months ago.

Last week the Royal obc was gone for a couple days. Only thing available was the 5 or 10% discount.
