How to I redeem MyVEGAS rewards points toward a Royal Caribbean cruise that I had already booked several years ago???

You can’t. They have to be redeemed on “new” bookings within 30days of cashing  in the the gold coins. AND the cruise has to be within 1 year of redemption of the gold coins.

Be sure to read all the terms.  You can only use 1, it has to be on a new booking, and it cannot be combined with a casino offer.

It also has to be booked either directly with RCI or with the casino club, not with a travel agent. However, I did successfully have them apply two to my upcoming cruise. I just sent the e-mails separately for each reward, and they applied both. But I'm sure that depends on who you get reading your e-mails, I just got lucky. It was one each for myself and my husband, not 2 for me (they never allow more than one per person).

So you applied credit after 14 days of booking? Who did you email? Also does anyone know if the vouchers expire after you redeem them?

It has to be within 30 days of booking, which I was. It also has to be for a sail date within a year of redemption (mine is this November). I booked the cruise online at the RCI site, then I purchased the reward. When you purchase a reward they send you an e-mail with instructions. I just e-mailed the address they gave me (which was the Club Royale address) and gave them my cruise reservation number and the reward number and asked them to apply it. When I got back the confirmation e-mail that it had been applied, my husband purchased the same reward and we did the same thing. I figured if they said no I could just return the reward, but they just applied that one too which I was very psyched about. $200 for playing a silly online game, I'll take it!

Hoping it all works out for us. We plan on booking with Next cruise on our Harmony cruise in November for a cruise in April 2020(and maybe Sept2020).....

Really wish the $250 OBC offer would come back.....with almost 2million gold coins it would be nice. Actually a free cruise offer would be nice but only seen them once ever!

Dedication!...ha ...I believe I have been playing for just over 6 mths.

Actually FB MeVegas has had a few offers of a billion coins to play with for like $3.....so I admit...overall I have spent prob about $20 to get to this point.....still a great deal..

I would have about $5000 in OBC now......not a bad deal at all...just need the $250 OBC offers to come back!!!!

The crappy thing is the group price was the exact same price as the RCCL web price.  So this was a case where I lost money booking with a TA.  It happens, and going forward I wouldn't apply it to group cruises. I'm saving up for the 1,000,000 point Oasis class cruise they offer around Christmas for sailing in January anyway.

Is this a thing for real?

This may have been a very recent change.  I booked a cruise in August for this Nov and i used an agent and we were able to apply 2x $100 OBC to our reservations.

I guess i'll book next one onboard and apply the OBC then maybe transfer to my agent after.

Yes.  It is absolutely for real.  I spend money on it, but I have been on 6 free cruises in the last couple of years.

God I love these apps - I haven't played any of them in a few months because I had plenty of coins and we aren't going to Vegas any time soon. I had around 675K gold. I signed on to each of the apps again, and they each gave me bonus gold! I had heard of that happening but I guess I never had a long enough hiatus LOL.  I now have 994K gold. So I will definitely be able to hit the million for the cruise if it is offered, yay!

So if you haven't played in a while, try signing on and see if they give you any free gold. ?

GF and I have about 3.5 million points between us...

What automated script did you come up with to keep the betting rolling all day long for all that time?!?!?

The main reason I stopped playing it is because there stopped being any games I found that you could just put on auto-spin for 100 spins at a time and then have zero interaction until it was done. Inevitably, every few minutes there's a "bonus game" or "super chance" or other BS that's meant to force you to interact to keep the spins going. And that means no running the game in the background on mute while I'm working.

Yeah....to be honest we got lucky a cpl times with the FB version.....one time they offered a billion points to spin(for free)...and since then they have had some offers of a billion points for $3.....I have done that twice now....so I am in prob $10...along with the points offers, they gave around 20,000 gold coins each time too as a bonus....

But I am pretty religious at collecting hourly across all 4 platforms on my phone....and prob playing an hr or so each day while watching TV or something....but it was the FB version and bonus amounts that accounted for probably half or more of our gold coins so far to be honest....

Does anyone know if you can use multiple rewards on one booking? For example, 3 different onboard credit rewards on one cruise?

You definitely can not, even had them call out when my GF and Myself tried to apply an OBC redemption for the same room.

I thought it was mentioned here that you can BOTH cash in your rewards as long as your both listed on the cruise booking and both have own MyVegas accounts??

If you don't play much, your best strategy is to uninstall the app and set a reminder to re-install after 90-ish days.  I recently received 500k LP from Konami Slots "welcome back" bonus as a result.  I would choose Pop Slots as the first app to uninstall as that app requires player interaction to earn LP.

I was able to do it successfully.

I was told it is limited to one casino redemption per cabin.  They just pointed me to the T&C's but those are so vague its up to interpretation.

Per your below request.

Please seen 3rd sentence below advising, "Reward is applicable to NEW INDIVIDUAL BOOKINGS ONLY and is SUBJECT TO VERIFICATION".

FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Must be redeemed within 30 days of a new cruise reservation. Limited to sail dates within one year of redemption. Reward is applicable to new individual bookings only and is subject to verification. Only valid for new reservations made through Royal Caribbean Reservations at clubroyale@rccl.com. Not available for reservations made through online travel sites. Only one myVEGAS Reward can be used per reservation. Credit is in USD, non-transferable and shall not exceed $100.00. Credit is combinable with standard/full fare rates and restricted rates. Credit is not combinable with any other offer or promotion. Must be 21 years of age or older. Misrepresentation of reward will void this offer and re-fare booking to prevailing rate. Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice.

Also you can not use MYVEGAS if your reservation is in a group booking:

Since your reservation is booked within a group booking, we will not be able to apply a MyVegas offer to it.

We were only able to use one reward per reservation. I used a 10% wildcard reward to get $400 discount, then we tried redeeming to add $100 OBC from my wife's MyVegas rewards and they denied us saying exactly that, we had already used a reward on the same reservation. No big deal she just cancelled the reward and the LP were immediately returned to her account.

They also announced that NCL is a new rewards partner.  I hope it is in addition to RCCL, not instead of.

They've had NCL in the past as well. Those cruises sold out in a heartbeat,  but everyone was furious when they found out the taxes and fees were close to or over $300 per person. I wouldnt doubt if they released all the unclaimed cruises from last night in a few weeks.

Good to hear. Actually going on NCL Breakaway in 9 days. The fare included deluxe beverage pkg, wi-fi, tips, 3 nights of specialty dining, excursion credit and obc. They even offered free airfare but I declined it since you were required to fly in the day if the cruise. I compared it to a similar Royal sailing and with the “free” perks that I would use or purchase we are saving almost $1500.

Yes, I wonder if there will be the same "administrative fee", which is really the non-commissionable fare.  If so, I hope they make it clear in the award so people know.
