Do they expire? I almost have enough coins for $250 OBC. I know that I cannot use it on my already booked cruise and I'm considering doing the group cruise next November, If I got them now would they expire before then? Thanks in advance!

Points don't expire but once you redeem you must book cruise within 14 days.

ALSO...I just learned the hard way you CANNOT roll the rewards into a group cruise. Royal initially said yes, but after I cashed in and I booked into the Harmony group cruise they declined the $250 obc

Not sure if this helps anyone.....I read on another site (CC) that if you take advantage of a "price drop" with an RCCL cruise it is counted as a new booking.  I booked my May cruise on Oasis more than a year ago,  but took advantage of a price drop last week.  I wasn't sure if I cashed in my loyalty points with MyVegas if they would actually give me on board credit (my current price for the Oasis cruise is Central Park Balcony with Diamond discount and comes with $75 on board credit).  Well decided I'd give it a try.  Cashed in the points on Saturday, received an email from MyVegas, forwarded it to clubroyal@RCCL.com with info requested, immediately received an acknowledgement that it had been received and on Sunday got an email that said "Congratulations we have added $100 on board credit to your cruise."  I checked  My Planner and there it was :1_grinning:.  Always nice to have that little extra to spend.

I wonder if its also working if you use a certificate to book your cruise via club royal

If you have used a casino certificate on a cruise and then make ANY changes, be SURE and verify that the certificate will follow you.  We had a casino certificate for $1000 OBC follow us through 3 separate bookings.  This was during the infamous Empress cancellations so they were very careful not to lose it but sometimes they will not include the certificate value if you change the booking and it's next to impossible to get it reinstated if they let it drop.  Make SURE they move it forward to the next booking.

I saw those today, and MSC is a sponsor as well.

Be careful and read the fine print for the MSC terms carefully, especially way down at the end.  IIRC you have to book the cruise directly through their casino program (and not a TA) for OBC.

I deleted the app. Not playing and frankly prefer to spend my time doing something more than just staring at the screen for hours on end. If I could spin 200 times and completely ignore it, I’d be fine. But all the slots games have various mini-games within them that further demand awareness that I’m not willing to give any longer.

I don’t know why I’m surprised. I don’t much like playing regular slots, dunno why I thought this experience would be all that different.

Wish I had known this years ago.  And I have been sitting home for 10 weeks due to foot surgery.  Glad I know this now as I will be having knee replacement surgery next month.  Gentleman start your engines.

Wishing you the best in your recovery. I played frequently while recovering from shoulder surgery a couple years ago. I never pay to play.

Unfortunately MyVegas does not give the rewards return that it did in the beginning. I am happy that I was able to cash in while the getting was good.

I managed to get enough points in about three and half weeks for $100 obc. My husband already had the points on his. We both cashed in and was able to add to our cruise we had just booked. We were still within the 30 day new booking window so they didn't even have to do anything other than add this on to the booking. $200 obc total for basically playing something we would play whether there were rewards or not. Now, we are just going to let points accumulate until we plan the next trip and see what they have to offer.

Ok, so this question will sound strange I am sure, but... I do not have a personal FB account (it is not a good idea given what I do for a living, my personal life and work life would be far too easily merged - FB after all no longer lets you have a truly private and non-searchable account). I do have a fake account from way back - it’s not under real name and I haven’t signed in for years (it was used back when a few places only had discounts via FB or nieces had photos only there).  I would like to check this out, but if the mobile accounts aren’t useful for really racking up points I wonder if using the fake account at FB to play would cause a hassle in the end? That is, the different name from the cruiser...

For those of you who have used for significant rewards, any thoughts? I’m pretty peaved with M Life right now due to a sudden difference they are making on benefits for military spouses with their  military pearl status (and without any way apparently to contact anyone in marketing to get to the bottom of it ?). But, if that should get worked out, I might be on board with adding to the coffers. Thanks all!

Lynn

You will need to enter your Full Name/e-mail address when you redeem your reward.  The name does not have to match the name provided to Facebook.

@Matt gets the award of the month for best idea (even if it happened almost a year ago, I just found it). I am the bargain shopper, the coupon user (except with groceries LOL), I feel better when I get a deal... and this freebie way to add value is fabulous (and many of us would never have looked for it or found it since we either aren’t on FB or aren’t online game players). Good job on asking @Jeepgeek to post (and Russ shares the award for his willingness to provide the info here!).   ☺️

@Stephanie, you're correct on all counts. The best advice I can give (which I forgot, causing me to go "bankrupt" and have to start building my chips up again) is look at how many chips you currently have and then divide that by 200. That's your max bet, and pretty much ensures that you'll be able to ride the ups and downs as you hit winning streaks and losing ones. This should also allow your chip stack to grow over time, so you can make larger max bets.

This is tried and true for this game?...I want to set it to auto spins, but don't want to run out...

There are multiple games that count toward accumulating points for this reward. I enjoy playing Pop!Slots if I want to play something while paying attention to it and listening to a podcast in the background or something, but it's not the best for getting the gold coins for rewards since you have to pop the balloons that randomly appear to get them (and it's not always gold coins in there. Sometimes it's XP and sometimes it's the in game money). I'd say you are better off playing either myKONAMI or myVEGAS for being able to set to autospin and walking away as they will automatically give you the points without you paying attention. Also I don't know how I did it, but I somehow got signed up for their mailing list and they send me free chips daily if I click a link in the email which launches in game and gives me chips. It's 1M per day for Pop slots and something like....500k for the other 2? I forget. There is also the FB version of myVegas which is good to run in the background if you have a desktop/laptop. I don't think I'll ever get enough points for a free cruise, but it's fairly easy (sort of) to get enough points for $100 OBC. And I'm talking as someone who refuses to pay any money for this game on IAPs.

Interesting...are you able to link up if you are playing more than one of their apps I wonder to combine points...prob not eh?

Its all about collecting the most the quickest so sounds like I should stop the pop!slots and switch to myvegas....

the key would defn be getting those free daily chips. hmmm

I don't know how folks are getting 1 million plus gold coins. I play myVegas slots and blackjack and myKonami slots. I think the key is every time they offer free coins you grab them but don't play. When you get a whole bunch of coins then play. For example, I usually collect coins Sunday-Monday and play them on Saturday morning or some point over the weekend. I've gotten $100 OBC 3 times now and have almost 100K  (enough for two more $100 OBC's).

For those that have gotten to 1,000,000, any other tricks to share? I know there are FB groups that send out links for free coins but usually not a lot at one shot....

I collect throughout the week.  Then bet high and hope for a jackpot at the end of the week.  I gained 1M loyalty points off a 2B jackpot win a few months ago.  They eventually capped my loyalty points for a few days haha.

I just tried to redeem for $50 OBC and you must now use the points within 14 days of booking the cruise. I am a little disappointed but it looks like I will be able to have a lot of OBC when we book another cruise.

Were you told that by Royal? According to MyVEGAS, while you have to use the points within 14 days of redeeming the reward, it can be used on a sailing that is within 30 days of booking. I have been told that repricing a cruise resets that clock.

Nice. Now Royal and MyVegas just need to offer the free 7 night again for the 1M loyalty points.
