fa-li
I know this has been discussed before but having a hard time pulling it up. How early is too early to arrive at parking deck at port canaveral? If we want to drop our luggage with porters on the way in, what time should we shoot for? we have a 10:30 check in so I’m not worried about too much wait time there. Just want to get a parking spot under cover without dragging bags
Pooch
We arrived at 10:30 for our March Harmony cruise & found ample parking on level 2. Porters were waiting for us and also plentiful at that time.
CGTLH
Want to say April 10th we were dropping luggage off around 10:15 if not a few minutes earlier. Pooch
mathbees
For our cruise in March, we dropped our bags at 9am. We then met some family who live in the area for breakfast at the restaurant next to the pier (Grills) and then boarded at 11am (our assigned time). There was no problem. The porters were ready and waiting for luggage drop-offs.
fa-li
Thanks all! Can confirm they were ready to take our bags before 9:30. Now waiting to get on the ship. WAAAYTOOO and KristiZ 1
MandyR
Hi We are cruising next week and have booked our coach transfer from Orlando Airport before we knew our assigned boarding time. This means we will get there around 11am but will not be able to board until 1pm. Because we won't have transport, is there anywhere that we can walk to in the area to have a drink whilst waiting. Also could we drop our bags off before our assigned time and then get a taxi from the port to somewhere? Many thanks
Pooch
Grills is spitting distance from the terminal. Just to the left as you face the pier. When we have our daughter drop us off/pick us up, that’s where she does it. Easier than the actual terminal drop off/pick up and less congested. Also, you can periodically check the app for an earlier check-in time if you'd prefer that. Sometimes slots that were previously full open up as people are forced to cancel or change plans. ScooterScott22
Back in May we dropped our bags by 8 AM with the porters. We were dropped off and went over to Grills, since we knew we had time to waste before boarding. We were there so early due to some travel logistics and were not parking a car, so not sure if the lot was accepting vehicles that early. Have seen cars turned away from the garage before at PC because they were too early.
fa-li
Definitely can drop your bags. And yes, several places within a quick walk. Also, Carib brewery is a mile and half away - about 5 minute cab ride. (I mention in case you are like my husband, who must visit any brewery within a ten mile radius wherever we happen to be lol.) ScooterScott22
If it is a beer you are looking for Rising Tide Tap & Table (not the one on the Oasis ships) has a decent selection. The bad part is they are only open a little later most days.
cruisellama
Is the optional ship-to-airport luggage transportation option opening up yet from Miami/FLL/MCO?
