michelle8402 Posted April 21, 2022 Report Share Posted April 21, 2022 Hi there, My friend and I just got off the Wonder of the Seas and received a complimentary cruise from the casino for select dates or $500 off. We went to Nextcruise before we left and booked the cruise. We were told that it would take about a week to show the credit. Well my friend called them tonight to see what it would be to upgrade and he was told it was booked incorrectly and the promo wasn’t applied and that all the free rooms have been booked now but then I read online that the credits aren’t always applied until 3 months out. Pattycruise Posted April 21, 2022 Report Share Posted April 21, 2022 I had read on the facebook group for Royal Casino that the Wonder of the Seas would only be valid to book for complimentary cruises in March of 23. Apparently it needs to have been in service 1 year before you can book it for free. Not sure when you booked for. I would hope the casino booking staff could assist you to apply the booking to another free cruise or to apply the discount elsewhere. So you went to NextCruise and put a deposit down on a cruise and asked them to apply the $500 off? Just want to make sure. I have heard NextCruise doesn't always get the casino bookings set up correctly but you should be able to call Club Royale to get it straightened out. I had a $500 off code for cruises not listed but nextcruise couldn't apply the casino offer for some reason. I was instructed by next cruise to call the casino royale number once I got home, I did and they applied the discount and kept the OBC nextcruise gave me. So it wasn't either/or, the casino was able to make it work in conjunction with the nextcruise desk, just not onboard. I have nothing but great things to say about the clubroyale staff. Same here...had no clue what the process was the first time I had a certificate so I went through the site and clicked redeem to see what would happen. I thought I had a $200 off but didn't understand that it was a free interior on select cruises. When I got the invoice emailed I had no clue what to do and once I read it closely the time to pay had passed. Called Club Royale and they reinstated it for me..was super easy to deal with them! Now all I need to do is figure out why I don't get any additional offers like everyone else seems to get. I fear it's because I'm somehow linked to someone else via my email since one time I called C&A and they had my mom's info linked to my number. I had used my email address on my husband's account because he gets confused about things and I didn't want the hassle that goes with that. Then I booked a cruise for my daughter and family and her email address got caught up in my account. I have tried numerous times to have this fixed, even emailed the marketing department, who said there was no problem. Two different times I have had representatives look at my account only to say they can't do anything to fix it. This week I talked to a rep at the Casino reservations and she spent a lot of time going through my account and straightening it out. Hopefully it will work this time. We'll see.
