If you want to attempt to do it on your own, you may want to look into booking a room at the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island https://www.comfortsuitespi.com/ as they allow guests to have full access to Atlantis as long as you book in advance. Sometimes this is a cheaper route for a family than purchasing day passes but you have to be cognizant of cancelation policies in case of a missed or changed port stop.
