SorryTony
My first Alaskan cruise too. It will just be me and my 83 year old dad. Can't wait.
candmfox
If you are on board this particular cruise, I'd recommend that you invest an hour of your time being on hold asking for a price check for an OBC. I have two balcony staterooms and they credited my account with about $300/ea room. LoliMaui
CruisingNewb
Leave us some hidden ducks. We are boarding the day you arrive.
candmfox
Spent another hour and twenty minutes on the phone waiting for another OBC check and lo and behold, I'm up to $1200 in credits for both staterooms. Now I'm canceling and re-booking excursions using the funny money and crediting back those cancelations to my original method of payment. I have checked EVERY week and our cruise prices have not gone lower than what we paid. Congrats to you though! Use the extra money and buy some ducks to hide! My family will thank you on June 10th! candmfox
Then you did a great job at getting a great price. I did book this cruise only about 5 months ago, so I may have fallen into the "high price" range. Is the duck thing like the Disney gift exchange or something? Kids are getting out of the house now, so we are shifting from Disney cruises to RC and others. Disney prices are *stupid* high.
LoliMaui
Going on this cruise with our family - 10 of us. I don't have any excursions booked. I think they do, at least one. I like to enjoy the ship.
IdaNM
We are Bill and Diane, signed up yesterday. Drove to Alaska years ago. Now we're old and taking the easy way. We're still walking though, and looking forward to excursions in the company of good-humored travelers. You might have to shout into our ear trumpets, however. Are you a musician or poet? Your post is very lyrical, has a nice cadence, and rhymes well!

It took about 45 minutes of standing in line before we got a taxi since we had no luggage. Tip: If you have luggage and plan on taking a taxi it will significantly reduce your time in line if you use (and tip) one of the terminal porters so you don't have to stand in the taxi line all the way to the end.
