KDK
I keep re-reading the Royal Caribbean Travel Protection plan. Does anyone know if it covers your under 18 children if you purchase a policy? Thank you!
CrznTxn
It covers all the people in your party. We now purchase a third party insurance policy for our trips that is less expensive, covers the entire family and covers a lot more of the costs. Would you mind sharing the name of your third party insurance?
ChessE4
Kids are inexpensive. We prefer Allianz when we want extra medical coverage. However Arch's policy (Royal) was improved a few months ago. Aside from the total cost of the trip to be covered, age is the main driver of the cost of travel insurance -- due to the likelihood of medical claims when we are older. For us, the most common claim (twice) has been luggage-related -- either delayed by airlines or lost by Royal.
CrznTxn
We use Geo Blue Travel insurance. It requires you have medical insurance but they do not vary the price based on the type you have. KDK

We use Allianz when going on a big trip abroad but may use Royal's coverage for the Caribbean, it varies. We will look into an annual premium from Allianz for next year.
