Aruba excursion cancelled, any suggestions on what to do?

We didn't purchase anything in advance. Just outside the port, there a tons of people/companies who offer tours. We opted for one that gave us a tour the island for a couple hours, dropped us off a beach for another couple hours, then returned us to port. There were about 15 people (not just our group) in our mini-bus, each paying around $25-30 I think.

In Aruba, especially if you're arriving later in the day, I can highly recommend the sunset party booze cruise that Red Sail catamaran offers on several of their boats.  It is usually offered through the ship's tour office, and if not, I'm sure they can take people directly as well if the ship's commitment has not filled up all of their availability already.  If you like a booze cruise it's probably the best I've ever had, I take my Doctor Who celebrity/fan group on that one every time we hit Aruba, going again next month.

I enjoyed De Palm Water park thingy.  Slides, scuba, chairs, food, and flamingos came with the price.

What excursion did you have that got cancelled?

Was that excursion a set time or were you able to head back early? Looks like it's 6 hours total.
