What caused the free cruise offers from the casino to dry up?

Hello fellow RCCL cruisers 🥳

The year before the shutdown we received at least 2 emails offering us free cruises via the casino based on moderate, but consistent, use of the casino (mostly video poker). At the time, I was surprised to get those offers since my use was not what I would have considered high.  I would assume I am at a Choice level in Club Royale.
 

But since the restart, we have received no offers at all (even since our S2S cruises in November where I spent more in the casino per cruise than I had during past cruises). At first I assumed that with so much FCC out there, the offers stopped because of a supply and demand issue.  However, others have been receiving these offers recently and so that cannot be the problem. My new working hypothesis is that Royal is not sending them to us because we have FCC remaining. Has anyone received an offer (not directly a result of status, such a free cruise directly earned) since the restart that *does* have FCC remaining?


We didn’t get to use the free offers prior to the shutdown as we already had paid cruises left to take and not enough free time available, I was hoping that we could in 2022.

Hard to understand anything about the Casino offer system. For a while it went down then up again (as some said almost every week) last three weeks it went down again for me, even not the monthly offers.

I think it's all about demands , now the demands goes up (with less strict C19 regulations) and they have less free rooms they need to fill.

Just like above mentioned, check www.clubroyaleoffers.com and enter your C&A info for offers.  Give Club Royale a call and tell them you have not received any offers in your e-mail.  Sometimes if multiple passengers have the same e-mail address in their system, you won't receive their e-mails.

same story here, the offers are all 99% the $100 off seven night sailings.  had a free interior room offer just before the holidays, but i would say like a lot of things, the promotional dollars for these deals came out of profits and giving out free rooms like candy obviously don't make sense in RC's financial position at the moment.

No, I had no FCC pending, but at times I had a refund pending.  As long as Royal is cruising, I'm easily receiving a couple offers per week.  My wife receives them also.  I personally had not cruised since Fall/2019.  My wife cruised once more Fall/2019, and another at the end of 2021.  And the free offers continued, both in the mail and on emails.

 

And we cruised Odyssey last week, the first time for me since the shutdown.  As we entered our cabin, there was already another free offer waiting for us on the desk.  A really good offer.  Anything 7-to-9 nights, Jr. Suite, anywhere they go.

I played a lot during this last cruise, but other times I played enough to barely be Prime in the casino.  My Wife plays very minimally.

 

So, seems there is no reason I'm on any different list than anybody else.  They want to fill up ships and they're doing whatever it takes.

 

I would contact Casino Royale and ask if you've been forgotten.

I did contact them, they are looking into it. But as a scientist by training, I look for patterns and had wondered if having outstanding FCC was the variable that was at play. Made sense to just ask (small n, even so) 👍🏼 We shall see!

🙂I understand.🙂

 

Not unlike the pattern I'm discovering on RoyalUp bidding.  Folks are winning their bids with tiny bids.  I offered a maximum bid and won squat.  The pattern would be, bid just a little bit.  Or I might just give up on figuring patterns.😎

I can totally understand that. What is the saying… that RCCl is predictably unpredictable? 😂

I don't think Casino Royale can see your FCCs. If they could, they might give you more offers, as more bookings with upgrades means more people spending money at the casino.

It could literally be a glitch in the system. I always play decently at the casino, but I didn't start receiving offers until I fixed my email. Now I am getting free offers every other week and money off every week.

I did have them check my email just to get sure. Apparently she sent it if Half to be invested by somebody who may or may not care. Keep hope alive!!!

Hi, do you mind sharing what was wrong with your email and how did you get it fixed ?

I booked for my friends and family, so I had several people tied to one email. I updated my account to reflect an email that was only used by me.

On the clubroyale page there is a menu on the upper left. You can click on "not getting my offers" and complete a form.  I personally prefer to call them.
I had people removed from my account (my kids are now over 18) but I still get no emails.  Turns out my daughter (age 19) somehow still has my email associated with her. I've read of people saying it is a chronic issue with RC, they remove people and when they update their systems suddenly it reverts backwards.
