Testing and cruise cancelation insurance

Recommended Posts

Trying to sort out the travel insurance question. If we are sailing on Saturday, and on Thursday we test positive with the RC at home test, what are the options? If we don't have travel insurance,  do we lose our money? If we do have travel insurance,  does it cover cancelation due to Covid?

I have to believe that this policy

100% cruise fare refund for you, and your Travelling Party, if any of you tests positive for COVID-19 within 10 days prior to the cruise or at the boarding terminal prior to the cruise.

will stay in effect as long as they REQUIRE testing to board a cruise.

I would think they would have to keep it in place. It's quite the PR disaster if they don't
