Navigator Junior Suite

We were so thrilled with the very large size of our Navigator Junior Suite.  Can anyone tell me if the Junior Suites are the same size on all the RC ships - or if they are smaller on some of the ships?  It will make a difference to me on what I book.  Thank you

I've done juniors on Freedom, Brilliance and Majesty so far, and they all seemed pretty consistent. The balcony on Majesty did seem smaller, or more shallow, than the other two. I'll be doing a junior on navigator next month, so we'll see how it compares.

They are definitely consistent across sister ships (i.e. other Voyager class ships).  

 

In general, the JS size is roughly the same across the fleet (or within a few square feet).  The exception will be ships like Majesty of the Seas and Empress of the Seas, which are more the outliers in their smaller size of rooms overall.

Have a junior suite on Anthem. Will let you know about the size. We loved the junior suite on Independence.

The 297 sq. ft. of the JS on Navigator is a size shared with a few other ships, and is surpassed only by the 299 sq. ft. of Brilliance and Radiance.  It's interesting to see the variance in not only the size of rooms but also the balconies, but in almost all cases, the JS will be significantly larger than non-suite alternatives. The smaller end of the scale is around 230 sq. ft.  Empress is an outlier (112-155 sq. ft.) -- but suites are the only option with a balcony on Empress and the JS are often priced much less than a typical JS (a good way to climb the C&A ladder).

Keep in mind that the stated balcony sizes are "average" for the room category.  There will be some rooms with larger balconies and some with smaller within the same room category.

I actually got an owner's suite on Empress for about the same as what I'd pay for a junior on the newer boats. The room's about the same size or maybe a little bit smaller, but the balcony was about 4 times bigger.
