BB1
The best flight for my upcoming cruise is on Jet Blue. I'm always nervous to fly smaller airlines as I've heard horror stories about Spirit and other smaller companies. I would appreciate any input. Thanks. It would be a red-eye flight. Jkaczano
I personally like JetBlue. They’re flights are relatively comfortable with decent in flight entertainment. Size wise, they’re similar to Air Canada. Things I don’t like - in order to choose seats and be allowed a carry on, you must choose a blue rather than a basic fare. I have no hesitation flying them BOS (1 hour from my house) to FLL because there are multiple direct flights a day. If there’s a problem with my flight (weather or equipment) there’s redundancy. Spirit has a better priced, more convenient direct flight out of MHT (15 minutes from my house), but I would never use them for a cruise because there’s 1 per day. If there’s a problem, you’re SOL. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_largest_airlines_in_North_America https://www.tripsavvy.com/top-airlines-in-north-america-53734 https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurabegleybloom/2021/07/19/ranked-the-best-and-worst-airlines-in-america-in-2021-according-to-new-report/?sh=4996a12372c3 Gewel, KristiZ and Pattycruise
smokeybandit
Jetblue is fine. They're not an ultra low cost line like Spirit/Frontier/Allegiant. They're more on a level with Alaska Gewel and KristiZ
Pooch
Jet Blue is not remotely like Spirit or Frontier. Comfy seats, personal TVs, baggage fees just like the legacy carriers. No reason to be concerned KristiZ

John Traeger
I am a pilot for Jetblue. I second the other comments. Don’t fly down same day. The before is perfect SpeedNoodles and Gewel
Geoff P
I’ve never had a bad experience on Jet Blue and personally would look to book with them over most others if I have the option.
Pooch
I would have agreed before they removed even a carry on from their basic fares. All things being equal, Jet Blue out of Bradley is a great option. But Southwest flies the same routes and is cheaper with no bag fees probably 90% of the time. silenttuba
JetBlue is *nothing* like Spirit. You won't have any issues at all.
Va4fam
I've been flying on JetBlue for almost 20 years. One of my favorite airlines. Great customer service in the air and on the ground if needed. Enjoy your flight! SebagoSue
twangster
JetBlue is fine. I would have flown them more but when I was out west everything went through Boston. That’s not an issue except it’s not on the way to Florida from where I was. The route map is more eastern US centric but if it works wherever you are go for it They are not to be compared with Frontier or Spirit. Completely different.
