Megangphillips
Royals 30 page document outlining their interpretation of the CDC guideline is actually full of discrepancies that other cruise lines, like Disney and Carnival, have not created. The two that are of most concern for us are around unvaccinated children, particularly those unable to be vaccinated. Royal insists on a PCR no more than 3 days from boarding but they will not accept documentation of recovery from a medical provider for children who have recently recovered from Covid. The CDC states clearly this is an option, as recent recovery is the only option for protection for children under 5. The CDC also states clearly that children under two are not exempt from preboard testing requirements but Royal has decided they are... Just been a nightmare to deal with this cruise line. smokeybandit
Mask Policy for crew The crew with 'Up to Date' vaccination status are not required to wear masks when outdoors, on Deck 6 fwd open deck and Deck 7 fwd (except F&B venues such as El Loco, Sprinkles, Bar Staff are required to always wear masks.). They are still required to wear KN-95 masks when indoors and on-duty (except in hot working areas, such as the galley). The crew is still required to wear masks while using the crew/guest gym. The crew with Not Up to Date vaccination status must wear KN-95 masks at all times when outside the cabin Crew testing 50% of the up-to-date crew per week. Every up-to-date crew member must be tested every 14 days. Not up-to-date crew has to be tested weekly. https://crew-center.com/royal-caribbean-relaxing-crew-mask-policy-fb-crew-areas-restrictions-and-more LizzyBee23, Neesa, WAAAYTOOO and 1 other

At this point of the ‘pandemic’ the constant testing of perfectly healthy people just baffles me.
