Not so sure this has been posted before, but its simply an FYI.  If you gamble enough to earn points that accumulate for a free future cruise certificate, you will qualify for free OBC or Free play if you book that cruise with "Next Cruise " .  I have done it twice, and received $500 per cruise.  Another great perk for the best casino at sea!  They keep improving the sail dates available and I just got an invite for Wonder of the seas in my weekly /monthly offer.  Sadly I am so booked I can't take advantage of it!

Not intending to hijack your thread, @Edmundbut I have a little GOOD news for a change.

1.  I just received an offer for a complimentary casino cruise on Wonder !  I cannot believe that they are offering casino comps on this brand new ship.  That's never happened before that I am aware of.  I couldn't resist....even though there is a less than 1.0 X 10 -9 chance that the vax requirements will be gone by then (if ever) I booked 4-8-22, 7 night western.  I stuck with the complimentary inside room so that I will not lose anything WHEN I have to cancel. If, by some miracle, they do change the vax requirements, I can still upgrade down the road but I fully realize that is unlikely to happen.  It was just so nice to actually book a cruise rather than cancel one !

2.  I got confirmation that the Club Royale status will be extended for another year !  That means that even though we will not cruise at all this casino year, we will retain our Prime status through 3-31-23.  That is very VERY good news for us.  The only indication that I had that this was going to happen was the letter that @Ampurp85posted in her recent thread...so it wasn't a complete surprise, but it has now been confirmed so YIPPEE !!!!

Interesting. I got a balcony offer on Wonder.  Perhaps I should just book it (even though my dates are filled) and hope for changes?  I take it you are not vaxxed then? Club Royale status reboots April 1st.  I am signature now, and will remain that. So I dont know what you mean by an extension?   Perhaps if I dont reach my status by April !st, they still push it forward?   Reached status last Dec.  Signature is a great place to be. Im not getting any junior suites or higher like years before however. I achieve them on board for the week and book it at next cruise.

Yes, we are not vaxxed and will never get vaxxed.

Since we have not cruised since Feb 2020, we have not re-qualified since the restart.  If they had not extended our status (again) we would have lost our Prime status on 4-1-22. Glad we will retain status until we can (hope) start cruising again.

Hope it all works out for you and that you get to cruise again sooner than later.

I have not gotten my casino offers lately. Like you, I am also Prime. When did you get your offer?

Thank you.

I did not get any offers for a year after we moved from VA to FL.  I tried everything to get them started back up but nothing worked.  Then suddenly, about a month ago I started getting snail mail, email and online offers again.  I have been getting LOTS of offers but they have mostly been crappy 3-4-5 day sailings.  I got the email Wonder offer today and I went online and noticed that it was on the website too.  I really have no idea what clicked and got me back into the groove.  I just hope that we get to use some of them !

Good for you and I respect you for that.  In 2020 we did 6 cruises. Came off the last ship in Bayonne March 15 and drove home. Managed to pull off 5 cruises in 2021. Have 8 booked thus far for 2022.  Every single cruise is comped , most of them suites.

I or RCCL have been canceling my cruises (over 50) since March 2020. My hubby and I have either lost our earned in the casino certificates, great discount rates and tier certificates  If the Covid mandates don't change, I am told that my upcoming 5 back to back cruises will not extend my cruise credit on deposits that I made prior to the mandates, even though I am a "Cruise with Confidence" Diamond Plus, Signature cruiser! How can they take my cash when they will not allow me on their ships? Heck...everyone with the required jab are the ones who are getting sick!!!!  Celebrity (owned by RCCL) follows Florida law and do require proof of vax!

I entered my last name and C&A number and it listed my current offers, eligible sail dates and offer expiration dates.

I called this morning and after the usual long wait (PLEASE change the recorded commercial!) I was connected with a very patient, helpful agent. He checked my eligible, booked cruises…only those not yet past final payment date were eligible…and found which ones had interior staterooms available. I had already booked CLS on the Oasis and wanted to apply the value of the interior room to my booking. I could only do it if there were interior rooms open. I was able to apply the full value of the interior to one booking and that dropped my final payment. I applied another interior room to a different booking (offers can not be combined) and that, too, dropped my final payment. I then applied two $200 off certificates to two additional bookings.
The most important advice is make sure you have at least two hours to invest being on the phone. Speaker phones are great!

So, you were able to apply the offers to already booked cruises as long as it wasn't in the FP stage?

Yes. In the first instance, the cruise had to be listed on the eligible dates. I had already booked a cruise for September on the Oasis out of Port Liberty (actually two of them…b2b). On one there were no inside rooms available so I couldn’t use the benefit of a free inside. But, the second cruise had insides available, so I got the full value of an inside applied to my existing CLS reservation. I tried using a $200 off certificate on a cruise next month, but was unable because it was past final payment. So I just used it on another booked cruise in October.

For the cruise where you were able to apply the cert, did you have to pay the balance in full when the cert was applied ?

Do these offers also include senior and resident rates?

Few questions. The bookings you applied the $200 certs. Were they already booked with a Club Royale rate? Also, were the $200 off certs from casino play?

Thanks, just trying to build some ammo before I give a fun task to my TA.

No. The bookings were made by me, online. Not casino rates.

Yes. They were from casino play.

At the Clubroyaleoffers.com site, they listed the offers along with their redemption codes. There were links next to each offer to redeem, but I didn’t try clicking them…I just called.

I had booked these cruises myself months ago with all of the usual options….my C&A number, senior citizen, NJ resident, first responder….and received the discounted price at the time. I then re-priced each at least twice over the months as sales came out and the prices dropped. Being solo, the best is when the 30% off each guest is offered.
Even with the lowest price to date, the casino rate on the inside room…along with the upgrade to the CLS…was still much lower. It pretty much resulted in the value of me getting interior room being subtracted from the total.

That's awesome and very surprising to me.  I have always had to pay the full balance anytime a cert casino discount was applied.

A few weeks ago, I was able to apply a $500 certificate to a cruise I have booked at the end of the year.  The sailing did not qualify to use a complimentary certificate, however, Club Royale transferred the booking to a casino booking and the $500 was applied.   My final payment date remained the same.   When booking any complimentary sailings, we've been asked to pay full upgrade and port fees & taxes.   This is all new to us so but this has been our experience thus far.

Just to clear up what I posted earlier….when I said no inside rooms were available, that means inside rooms held by the casino to be used as complimentary rooms. They place a hold on a certain amount of rooms in all categories and then release the holds as the cruise gets closer. Sorry, forgot to add that.

Thanks for the info. I'll try and see if my TA can get them applied to any bookings.

Last attempt my TA was told it would essentially trigger a new booking.

I think it would have to trigger a reprice at the current prevailing rates.

If the cruise you are looking at is on the list of complimentary cruises and they have rooms available for whatever category your comp is for, then they can apply the value of that comp towards an upgrade which could be a net benefit on your behalf. Otherwise you are applying only the $X off part of the offer.

When I tried to apply it to a cruise where I had already booked a CLS, the agent told me there were no interior rooms available. So I had the option of applying the $200 benefit…or finding another eligible cruise with interiors available. Luckily, as it is a b2b, the next cruise had interiors available and I received the full benefit of an interior applied to my booked CLS. I checked by doing a mock booking of an interior room with all of my eligible discounts applied (C&A, NJ resident, senior geezer, etc) and the price was similar to the amount applied.
**also, both of these cruises had been re-priced at least twice…most recently about three weeks ago, so the current pricing was pretty close.

New to this free cruise lark.   Wife played on our cruise a couple of weeks ago and won a free cruise which we booked for September.  On the last day I scrapped over the prime threshold and also won a free cruise

gone on the offers site and my certificate is there.  I click to see what cruises I can take and all is get is a very blurred and unreadable version.  Used my iPad and iPhone but the same happens.  Anyone any ideas to how to solve it

Have same issue on viewing on mobile devices - it's probably not work properly on mobile/iOS browsers.  it works fine on a computer/laptop.  if it doesn't look right when it automatically opens just close it and open the file directly in downloads folder, the itinerary is downloaded to your system when you open it from your computer.
