Lalast
Does anyone know if the lobsters served on formal night (not the one listed for additional $ from Maine) is warm or cold water lobsters?
smokeybandit
Probably warm water, since those are cheaper and are mostly used for tail meat.

Yep, Smokey's correct. I will typically tell our waiter to start me off with four because they are kind of small.
twangster
Warm water, tail only.
teddy
My wife had a couple on Oasis the other night. While they weren’t the lobster we’re used to, she said they weren’t bad.
Last Lion
You guys should know that the lobster is the garbage scow of the seas. It crawls around on the bottom eating only dead things. As a courtesy, if we ever dine together, I will bravely eat your lobster as a public service. You’re welcome! PG Cruiser
May I ask why it is frequently asked what day the lobster night would be? Does it matter what day of the cruise lobsters will be served “free” in the MDR?
cdixon22
My guess would be for people trying to schedule specialty restaurants around it. That is what we do.

Albeit, the specialty restaurant upcharges are for whole lobster. So, yes. To some people, who want lobster, but do not want to pay, lobster night designation matters. What I don't get is the need to know what day it will be offered.

sandc4e
Last week it showed the lobster on Day 5 dinner menu in the app. Today the app is showing a 7 day menu without it, I think it's going to be on Day 5. I'm also on this cruise, but being from Maine, I am fortunate to have lobster anytime. We have UDP, so probably won't do lobster this cruise.
