hjhuber23
I'll be going on a cruise in December with a group of 16 people. We have the traditional dining at 8:00 pm each night. What time can we expect to be done with dinner in the main dining room? We currently have Oasis of Dreams reserved at 9:30pm, but after reading some reviews, I'm worried we might not be able to make it in time if we eat in the main dining room. Thanks in advance. arebee
You can always ask the servers to bring everything quicker or just eat elsewhere on those night. In the past we had late dining, we asked for quicker turn around and they were happy to help. Even though the others at the table waited. DocLC
I would give yourself 2 hours to be safe and not to rush. Remember that you need to be there 15 minutes as that's when they open it up to standby.
donolog
I agree that it's ideal not to rush, but if you do need to squeeze into a shorter period, in addition to speaking with your server (ideally the night before) about your timeline, the other thing I would suggest is having all the members of your group both show up a few minutes early to the dining room, and have them review the menu beforehand so that you can put in your order as soon as you arrive. You might also have to be prepared to skip dessert.
