Sandi
I would love others opinions on if its worth it to spend extra on a dolphin swim encounter vs the waist height encounter. Trying to figure out, how much time with the dolphins you get with the different packages?
BowTieBrigade
The full encounter we did in Cozumel allowed us to swim out into the pool and grab hold of the dolphins’ fins so they could give us a ride. It was pretty great. However, that was the notable difference and the majority of the encounter was done at waist level.
Patchy
In Nassau on the Blue Lagoon Island excursion, we did the dolphin swim (not encounter) and it also included the “foot push” where you lie on a boogie board and the dolphin pushes you forward. It was exhilarating! We also got to individually hug the dolphin which I don’t know if you get to do on the encounter. In retrospect I am glad that I did the swim instead of the encounter. But for those who are not comfortable fully getting into the water (albeit with a life jacket), the encounter would still be an amazing experience to interact with these incredible creatures WAAAYTOOO and rjac 1
DevilDog84
Can anyone speak to the difference between the VIP swim and the regular swim in Nassau. I'm just not understanding the differences and it's our first cruise so I don't want to screw this up. Any input or advice is greatly appreciated!
