GlassSlipper
I saw on a video that there were outdoor tables at Chops. Has anyone sat there at dinner, is it chilly/windy? We have never been on an Oasis class ship so not sure how it is.
Linda R
The outdoor tables are awesome. There is a glass wall all around them, so no wind. I always ask for those tables. And not as noisy as inside. loki007, GlassSlipper and WAAAYTOOO 1
GlassSlipper
Thanks! We will request them. It looked so pretty and I’m thinking even better at night. Linda R

Yes, I had dinner at Chops on the Oasis at an “outdoor” table. Central Park at night is beautiful Linda R
Cruisin and Boozin
Yes outdoor seating at chops. It is so much better than inside especially during these times. It is beautiful in the enclosed glass area!
MattG
How is the lighting at the outdoor seating in Chops? Is it dim to reinforce the Central Park atmosphere?

Highly recommend Neesa
JimnKathy
The outdoor tables at Chops are wonderful. We sailed a B2B on Symphony last September on an Unlimited Dining Package and enjoyed the outdoor seating twice...you'll love it.

Blulady
One of my fav dinners on Oasis was having an outside table. There was sufficient light to see. That evening, we were on the way back to NJ last week of Oct., it was lightly raining - it actually made the dinner even more special. So peaceful and you can't beat the food
Cruisin and Boozin
Can’t wait till Monday hoping to be eating at chops and maybe outside seating will be exactly as we need it to be during this uptick of sickness.

I'm glad that the light rain made your dinner even more special. In my case, also on the Oasis, it was also raining. I happened to be at a table where there was a drip from the ceiling that caused splattering on me. At my suggestion, the waiter placed a table napkin on the spot where the drip was falling. The splatter was gone and I went on with the rest of my dinner. I was cruising solo so I wasn't really that concerned about the ambiance. If it's minimizing exposure to COVID you're after, then I would say the "outdoor seating" at Chops will not work as you envision it. It may have the feel of an outdoor seating but it is still enclosed in glass.

Ah I get it... sort of a nice environment to "get away from all this COVID craziness". I believe Chops' outdoor seating will give that to you. Enjoy your cruise!
