Sctexas
On 1/7 sailing, casino is open all normal times and is fully staffed as far as I can see. For this cruise, only 800 rather 2500 points is required for free cruise certificate. The bars are all open though live music is limited to rotating tropical band, pianist, and guitarist. 1 headliner singer who was good. Many game shows and trivia. No lines for anything with 1150 passengers. Ice skating and ice shows closed. All other activities open. The assistant cruise director Sani appears to be running all the activities. I highly recommend Chachoben (sic) Mayan ruins through Native Choice. This does require walking out of the port 4 blocks to meet the vans. Yes, 2500 to prime. The 800 points to earn the free inside cruise certificate is a new promo they're running. It's a limited a list of sailings. I've heard mixed things about whether it's an instant certificate or something that shows up in the cabin on your next booked cruise. Sushitex
We’re on our second leg of 4 B2B’s on the Adventure. During the first cruise, our Cruise Director went into quarantine and Sani did assume her duties. The 2 production shows are not going on right now ( besides the ice skating show.) However, service everywhere has been great and the entertainment team remains upbeat. Tonight, several crew members were transferred to and from the Serenade, which was docked alongside us in Cozumel. The 800 point instant certificate promotion has been going, off and on, for a few months. Hubby and I have made use of it, and it’s a great deal, but once you get your certificate, don’t waste any time in booking a cruise, because the popular (summer) weeks are going fast. Oh, and the way it’s currently been working, you earn one certificate and receive it at the end of your cruise. Then, on the second day of your next cruise, you’ll receive another, similar certificate, unless you earn a “better” certificate by earning more points. However, a casino host on the Liberty warned us that this promotion could stop at any time, so take heed.

We (2) did Costa Maya on the Brillance 12/27/21. Took a cab from the port to the Malecon in Mahaul for $4 (100 pesos) walked the Malecon and settled at the Krazy Lobster beach club. Total bill for the day with a great lunch and ample drinks was $65 and that covered our chairs, hammocks, good snorkeling and kayaks. Another $4 to get home. Have to say it was better than any organized excursion we have ever attended in Costa Maya. WAAAYTOOO and SchrodingersThought
