Captain J
We're scheduled to sail on Odyssey on January 15th but I just learned that a Carnival ship was denied access to Aruba & Bonaire due to an "undisclosed number of passengers & crew testing positive for Corona". Royal Caribbean has already been denied access to Grand Cayman and substituted Nassau Bahamas and another day at sea.
WAAAYTOOO
I know that you wrote (different thread) that you had already L&S this booking twice…so you probably wouldn’t be interested in doing this….but I wonder if Royal should consider bringing L&S back on line temporarily until this Omicron surge cools off. With so many crew affected it’s reasonable that some people just want to punt for now. L&S was very popular last year. It might be a prudent option for a while. asilverman
Hello, We are on this sailing...The really dilemma is...Cancel or not to Cancel...We are sailing with another couple. They want to cancel...My wife and I are 50/50...We understand the risk. We are just worried about getting stuck onboard for 8 days with nothing to do...Shows and activities are getting canceled left and right. Jbyers
We have decided that as long as everything goes well leading up to the cruise (covid test, flights, etc) we are going to enjoy no matter what comes up to change the itinerary. I am a HS teacher and quite frankly I need a mental health trip! JohnK6404 and Neesa 1
Tanner
On this sailing..........so far.........very worried about missed/cancelled flights, the testing and everything else but still planning on forging ahead. Been trying to closely watch if the islands are letting the ship dock. Also, will be watching the next sailing hoping not to see too many cases on board impacting operations. Jbyers and S. TR Price
We had a great cruise thanks to The Travel Shop Abingdon Va a little disappointed with some features on ship namely no television in Casino and unlike Oasis class ships guest must navigate from one section to another to get around ship. . Entertainment was not the expected quality. However, the food at all venues was excellent. Staff was of equal quality !!! In summary just great to get out there again never heard one report or rumors anyone on ship having any Covid issues.
Jbyers
My wife and I had a wonderful trip and found the size of the ship much more enjoyable versus Harmony and all of the food was fantastic. I enjoyed Chops the last night the most, what a great dinner! PS- If I could pack up and move tomorrow to Aruba I absolutely would. Really enjoyed our time and excursion there (Picture this).
