ChrisJC
Hi all, We're hearing that Oasis of the Seas is docking very early tonight (roughly around 12:30 am instead of the usual docking time of 5 or 6 in the morning. Im curious if anyone has heard of any reasons why this is the case? In our FB cruising group, someone suggested a death as one of the reasons the ship needed to be in the Miami port early, however not sure how accurate the suggestion is. Any information or insight is greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance.
smokeybandit
Was it foggy in Miami early this morning or other weather-related issue? That's a common reason to get back to port early. It could be a staffing issue with the port pilot. It could be a maintenance issue that needed a few extra hours in port to take care of before the next cruise. HawkeyeSarah
I was just on Oasis and the captain indicated on Saturday evening that our arrival time was going to be around 3:45am back in Miami yesterday. No indication of any issues onboard and nothing weather wise that we noted. I don't know what time we actually arrived, but we were still sailing as of midnight which was about as late as I was up.
