barjpoe
A lot of the islands require biodegradable sun protection can anyone tell me which brands are biodegradable, or how can you tell by just reading the front of the label. Not the fine print on the back, cause I'm not sure what words I'd be looking for.

Srp431
How is this being enforced by the islands? Are they checking bags when getting off the ship or is it just the honor system?

I have been on excursions where everyone is reminded to do their part in protecting the marine environment by using proper sunblock.

Being that sunscreen breaches the blood barrier on you, I would recommend always using a natural sunscreen since it is better for you. VickR
Hi guys! I want to be respectful of the rules so I bought Coola sunscreen which apparently is all you can be friendly, but it doesn’t say biodegradable in these exact words. It does say “Reef friendly”, and I saw someone saying here would be the same thing… Can anyone confirm that? Is Coola reef friendly acceptable for the shore excursions? Pooch
Check for the 2 ingredients listed on this thread. They both begin with an “O”. As long as neither is in what you purchased, you are good. WAAAYTOOO
