EDM1885
I have 2 cabins booked and 4 people cruising, so 2 per cabin. One of the 4 people may or may not be able to come. If he doesn't come, does the person in the cabin get double points for the room since they are alone in the room? This cruise was purchased after September 30. Thank you! Linda R
If they are going solo you do get extra points. But the rate would change, and be more than each person was paying, before going solo. The single person would be paying approx. 1 1/2 times rate. At least that is how I think it is. Maybe someone else will clarify that.
twangster
Recently there have been more reports of solo cruisers not getting an extra point for ending up solo when a no show occurs. It's been many years since I've stayed in a cabin when a cabin mate did a no show. Back then I got the extra point per night for sailing solo. There are some recent reports that they are not always giving the extra point when a no show occurs. The user tried to have it adjusted and were denied. YMMV.
