Blulady
We have booked an Alaska cruise in Sept of 2022 on Ovation. I have been watching nearly every video I can find and I keep seeing coffee makers in balcony rooms - is this true? If yes, can someone tell me what type of coffee maker it is? K-cups, pods, etc. Thanks so much!
twangster
It did out of Australia but didn't from Vancouver to Alaska or Hawaii. It was not a k-cup but a square looking holder where you stuff the coffee pouch that isn't a brand I recall seeing in any store. Honestly it didn't look that great, one of those single cup brewing machines you sometimes see in a hotel. I chose to get my coffee from a coffee venue on board. I was hoping I could bring something acceptable from home for that first cup while getting dressed before I go get a real cup!

It seems that Royal removes the coffee and tea utensils when in the US but puts them out for other regions that expect tea capabilities like the UK and possibly Australia. You may find they aren't in the rooms by the time your Alaska cruise comes around.
Kathleen
We were on Ovation in May 2019 for Alaska and had a Junior Suite. We had both a coffee maker and tea kettle. It was our understanding that the coffee maker and tea kettle are found in Junior suite rooms and above.
WanderPam
On Ovation sailing to Alaska this Septemeber they had a kettle (not a coffee maker) in our regular balcony room. Tea bags as well but no coffee
DDD
Wouldn't coffee be included in the room service continental breakfast if ordered?
