levib2
Read that more than 3 ships must tender. Is there anyway of telling if we will be docked or tendered? Serenade 12/14 cruise. Will be in Costa Maya 12/16.

Pooch
I’m GUESSING that the last ship in has to tender. 8 am is fairly early so probably not you!
DJnKy
From cruise mapper..... Costa Maya port's current capacity is 4 berths (4 ships may dock simultaneously), with pierside water depth allowing docking of world's largest passenger liners (RCI's Oasis-Class). If more than 4 vessels visit at once, the other will be anchored and their passengers transported/ferried to the pier via tender boats. Reigert2008
Look in your cruise documents (even your RCI receipts and you shoudl see a column much like the one in the image (taken from our 2018 Alaska cruise). "D" is Docked, "C" is cruising, and 'T" woudl be tendered. We haven't had to tender on a RCI cruise yet, but will be in the future.
