xavier2001
New to these boards, have been on several Disney cruises, but just booked our first Royal over Christmas. Pretty last minute, super excited. I downloaded the app, and it says check in available November 8. Is it typical for it it open so close to sailing? Do I have to be fully paid to check in? And do I need to check in right at midnight to get an early port arrival time? Thanks for any advice anyone has, I usually plan 2 years ahead, so this ‘last minute’ is all new. AshleyDillo
It's a recent change to 45 days out for check-in. You do not have to be paid in full to check-in. It should open up at midnight EST. If you want to guarantee an early arrival time, checking in as early as you can is the way to go. Sometimes they open up earlier slots as the cruise gets closer so if you don't get the earliest, keep checking back.
