Thank you so much for posting this! I finally was able to put some of my 2,800,000+ points to use and scored an 8-night out of Baltimore!

Wow how long have you been playing to amass that many points?  I just started about 3 weeks ago and can’t seem to get out of the 20,000s!  Good for you to score such a great deal!

To earn as many points as you can make sure you are playing all 5 games each day. Slots are auto play, so don't even need to anything while they run.

So I have been playing the slots.  What other games are there?  Sorry I sound dumb about this…it’s all new to me!  Thanks

Originally, I thought MyVegas was a casino reward program for playing actual slots in the casino.

I got curious and downloaded the myvegas slot app. Then I found out they have 7 apps (plus the Facebook app) that generate the loyalty points. I've been maxing them out for the past week (each app has a daily limit on loyalty points earned). I also found out that it's easier with the Android versions because the points accumulate based on time spent in the app rather than number of slot pulls (iOS versions).

In one week, I'm already up to 225k loyalty points! Which means I'm 22.5% on track to a free cruise based on the most recent point costs per sailing. I'd estimate 1M loyalty points earned in a month would be the most you could squeeze out of the apps.

I've played several of these "real life reward" games and have never actually gotten anything out of them. Mostly because they are scams. MyVegas seems like the only legitimate real life rewards apps I've ever found.

UPDATE from my October post:    I ended up deleting the app and will just be traditional and pay for my cruises.  Not sure how some members can keep playing without ever having to purchase extra chips.  Fact is...I did pay a few times for extra chips and then all of a sudden I was charged for 2 extra purchases I did not make (I had only made 1 for $3.99 and ended up paying $25!!!).   I was playing on my iPad...   Anyway, I uninstalled the app and freed myself from having to find time to play each day.  Guess I don't have a knack for slot games!  LOL  🤣   🎰

Been playing for about 4 years and have never been overcharged. I have spent less than $10 and have received about $1000 in onboard credit. I had a free cruise also, but I had to cancel because of a work conflict. They refunded my loyalty points. I don't play every day but when I do it's for less than 5 minutes.

When did they stop offering the OBC rewards?  All I've seen is the free slot play, but I guess I've only been playing for a few weeks.

Side question, have you been able to apply OBC or free slot play to an existing booking?  I know the redemption rules state that it has to be for a new booking, but I'm wondering whether that is not set in stone.

I saw $100 obc last night. Just checked and it shows "sold out".

I have been able to apply to an existing reservation if it was less than 30 days of booking. However, the cruise cannot be more than a year out. I booked one 3 weeks ago, but the cruise is May 2023 so they would not honor. Points were refunded.

They keep selling out of the OBC. I have used it before, but they are strict.

It has to be used for a new booking withing that 30day time frame and sailing withing 12 months. My friend tried to apply his to an odyssey sailing which he just booked but was 5 days outside of the 12months and they wouldn't accept it.

There is a way to have them refund when a mistake is made.  I also play for maybe 15 minutes a day.  Every now and then over the years I might buy a bunch of chips for a dollar or two.  I've used the app to get 3 cruises so far.  I tried to have my wife use her account to get the OBC, but RCL flags that and we got our points back for that.

I earn about 30,000 points a day. I play all 5 games every day, but on auto-play, so I don't have to sit there and watch my phone. I just check back and once the daily points are maxed I go to the next game. I currently have 1.5 million points and I'm waiting to spend them on the right cruise or two. It's the constant checking to see if new prizes have opened up that is the biggest annoyance.

I'm there with you. 750k LP and about 3 weeks since I started. No reason to spend $ on chips as the LP gain is entirely dependent on time spent in the app for Android users. Looking forward to the next round of released cruises.
