That said, I personally wouldn't pre-buy a photo package unless it was crazy cheap or I was planning to sail with a big group and take tons of photos. Dimension Posted October 18, 2021 Report Share Posted October 18, 2021 During a Christmas cruise my wife and I bought the photo of us in front of the ship's Christmas tree on formal night. Beyond that one single picture we always determined that the photo packages were to expensive. As mentioned already you have to seek out the picture takers to have your picture made. In my case I have a mug better suited for radio than television so it probably would not be "worth" it, no matter the cost!! Traveler Posted October 19, 2021 Report Share Posted October 19, 2021 There will be many photographers and no issues to take 100 pictures and more (actually you should take more so you can chose).Take into consideration that the photographers are not really "professionals", I think they were trained for few days and become one , some are good , some are not that good. That is one of my rare complaints about Royal over some other lines – the quality of photographers. I’ve had some amazing photographs on other lines where their knowledge of photography and their repertoire in terms of poses are often quite good. On RCL, the often very young photographers are very typically amateurish (over and over the hand in the pocket pose for a man - I told my husband to just say no ).
