We have two rooms booked on this cruise one in my name for an ocean view balcony, and one in my daughter's name for an interior room. We both received this upgrade email. I'm often solo so two rooms for me isn't something I even did a double take on. In her case she has a booking for 3 guests in the same cabin. I can see where it might be enticing if you have 3 or 4 in a room..gets that extra bathroom and more space. But I don't think you can guarantee the rooms are close to each other. Yes, a nice luxury for 3 girls. But you do bring up a good point about the rooms being close to each other. On closer inspection, the offer sent to me was for 2 balconies. So many options.
