What does "Resort Casual" mean?

Recommended Posts

I've been browsing Cruise Compasses from a recent 4-Night Freedom sailing and I've noticed that for most nights, the attire is "Resort Casual".  What exactly is "Resort Casual?"  Does that mean I need to bring a lot of Hawaiian/Floral shirts for this cruise?  Shorts and flip-flops okay?
