Next cruise booking: OBC -should it show upon booking?

Recommended Posts

I’m currently on oasis and booked a slew of sailings at Next cruise

“The guy” said I would get $75 OBC.  I told him I thought it’s $100 as that is what I had gotten last time I booked at Next cruise (last month). So he made note, and I did get $100 for each booking, I already see it…oct , Nov and March.

I see $50 on 2 sailings my kids are on (a3 day and 4 day) in Jan   but nothing on my own reservations for those 2 bookings.

nothing on any other bookings I made.

additionally I was told it’s only $100 on a Junior Suite? Solo, 9 night, paying the supplement.  Is that true?

there were a lot of us having issues with Next Cruise on this sailing (price quotes that exceeded what you would pay if you booked direct with RC  different offers for OBC for the same sailing).  I feel like somethings not right.

Tomorrow is last full day so any advice or input is appreciated.

Next OBC is not fixed.  The critical words are "up to $X".

Solo impacts the OBC but also the rate influences Next OBC.  I scored some really great deals on Star Class bookings at Next and netted $300 in OBC.

I once booked a Going, Going, Gone rate and got zero in Next OBC.

It's usually less too for refundable fares.

So... it depends.  If in doubt go back and ask them.
