tonyfsu21
Asking for a family member. In the case your TA gets a significant price drop for you (like $1200+) after final payment what becomes of the unused funds? In other words, if they use $500 would RC cut a refund check after the cruise or is it a use it or lose it scenario? Thanks in advance. smokeybandit
Nope, use or lose. If you have that much OBC, you should use the casino trick to cash it out.

Then take the ticket and either have the cage cash it out or the bill exchanger... Don't ask how I know what $200, or was it $300, in $5 bills looks/feels like. Egeria
You put your cruise card into a slot machine, draw off your OBC (I think it is a $300 limit for each transaction), and then play on that machine and try and win more money, or be safe and just immediately cash out. And if you "accidentally" take out more than the remaining OBC the rest gets charged to your credit card on file as one single onboard charge for the entire week and you "accidentally" get all those extra reward points/miles. All it costs is an extra trip to the bank to make a deposit. tonyfsu21
