wozswoman
Solarium Bistro shows in my dinner dining options with a $0 charge between 11-4. It also requests a set date and time. Cruise 9/
AshleyDillo
It is free on Oasis class ships (except Allure at dinner). Reservations are recommended. They are open for breakfast and lunch and it's like a mini version of the Windjammer. At dinner it's a hybrid menu and buffet - you order entrees from a menu and the appetizers, salad and dessert are buffet style. Pooch
When we took our first cruise in 2002, that’s how WJ was for dinner - buffet appetizers and served entrees. wozswoman

On Allure it becomes the Brazilian restaurant Samba Grill which is an up charge restaurant Snotarni
SpeedNoodles
On Symphony there was a charge for the Solarium Bistro at night (I can't remember if it was every night or just certain nights).
FionaMG
I've booked it for a couple of evenings on our upcoming Harmony cruise, also sailing 26 September, and it is complimentary on this ship too. However, I have been looking at the menu in the app and it definitely seems to be much more limited than the menus @twangster has posted in the past, which will be a pity, if true. That said, the MDR menus on the two nights I've booked at the Solarium are very weak, so we'll probably at least try the Solarium for the first of those and then decide about the second. Allure has a Solarium Bistro for breakfast and lunch but for dinner it becomes Samba Grill, a paid venue. Think Brazilian style steakhouse. I have booked it for our cruise on Harmony at the end of this month. Definitely no charge. You just book it in the cruise planner.
griffinjam22
According to my app for Symphony sailing coming up, it is complimentary for breakfast/lunch/dinner. However there are certain entrees with add’l charges. cruisellama
Linda R
Only once did I make a reservation at Solarium for dinner. All other times I just showed up and often was seated right away. If there was a wait time is was like 10 mi cruisellama
loki007
I've been on Oasis twice and it was complimentary. Its never busy for dinner. you could probably just walk up but might as well make the res even if you don't end up going.
