This is odd to me. I mean no distancing between machines I kind of understand (the casinos here do not put distance between machines and tables any longer either) but I think that smoking in the casino should not be happening.  Im not anti smoking per se, but I think this would be another form of Covid 19 protocol.  It is like freely blowing airborne particles in the air. Maybe I am wrong but I am surprised to hear this.

Over here on Allure it is the same thing in the casino. No chairs removed from the table games and no slots blocked off/partitions.

Subject of smoke, normally on the non-smoking side you'd catch waft of it every now and then. This time I really never picked up on it. Only time it was noticeable was when transiting the smoking area. Don't know if this had to do with the lack of players or the new protocols for the HVAC system. For me it was the first time being able to slow play (ante and play only) three card poker and not feel guilty occupying a seat.

I am not an health expert but to eliminate from people to blow C19 to the air you need or to force them to use mask (maybe one of the reasons for no mask is smoking ...) Or to ask stop breathing. I think the main issue with Casino smoking (beside of course all the issue with smoking itself) it's the fact that it bring many non players that want to smoke.

Stop being selfish with information haha.  I'm living vicariously through you until we board Saturday.  Who's your genie?

You might know him .... Sunil , he already sent a draft for our restaurant and we need to meet him to discuss. But don't worry we are low maintenance and will not do any genie hogging 🙂 (as long as you promise not to throw anything on is from that balcony.

I think we need one more RCB member to take the 10th floor so we will have full house . Two more days to go.  have happy and safe journey.

So we just had a meeting with Sunil , he is very nice , we went over the dinner reservations and some other activities. I asked about luggage valet and he told me they never did it for port Miami due to  the port terminal requirements. @Tiffeven he sends you warm regards and will try to call again tomorrow.

This is actually getting real!  Up until now, I've been so apprehensive about this cruise after so many cancellations.  Thank you for letting us live vicariously through you on your current cruise.  We look forward to meeting you!

Has for B2B people RCL wants you to have a PCR test between cruises and organize it to be on the last day, that's make much logic however they do not want to let you to CocoCay until you get the results. In other words only if you are tested you are at risk , not sure I understand the logic behind it . Maybe they gave someone from the IT department to come up with that policy.

Anyway we secheduled the testing to be at 7:40 am so we will have enough time before they let people go to the  Island ( they promised 1 hour results) testing was quick without any queues or  any expedition trying to find treasures in our brains. We went back to the room and catch some WJ breakfast. Back to the room waiting for the results (8:40) no results , 9 am nothing 9:30 nothing I can already start to hear Something g CoCay song .  Decided to go down there and ask , they checked and told me it's ready ,  it's negative and we are ok/ clear to go) 9:45 went down to the gangway and when scanning the card they told us we need to wait for the results. Now I could continue and argue and meet at the end the only officer that speaks my original language but thought better to skip it. Went again to the testing location , they checked again  and told me all OK and sent one of the officer to escort us out . That time  it worked. First time for us on Coco Cay

Day 6 and maybe 7

I am getting lazy so I will combine two days in one post. By the way about lazy , what about lazy river in CocoCay , maybe something that will start from the peer and will side by side with the 🚃 route ?

Day 6 was another sea day , lots of ship activities to choose from but we mainly were busy catching some sun (my spouse) and resting in the shade update the blog (guess who). Breakfast was at CK , I took the Mediterranean plate (including the so call Humos which is not really a morning thing , but I am sure it's the right time somewhere in the world

Added to that some french toast, we asked for some vegetables but beside tomato they did not had anything.

We took advantage of the suite deck again , this time it was very busy as another couple was using it. We were also the only ones who used the bar service. Again we went to enjoy some music , contributing to RCI revenue stream (or in other words playing in the casino and mainly were busy avoiding the stokers (aka Park West) who called me every few hours to remind me I have free money to use).

Lunch was in the WJ (no reservations are needeed although they recommend to do). Surprise  Surprise the had lobster tails

Day 7 a perfect day.

We had to get up early to take our B2B test, how it went I already wrote yesterday so let's just say that I am still  waiting until now to get the email with the results.

It was our first visit to perfect day , strange but none of the cruises  before brought us to this Island so we were excited to check it out.

The first thing we done was the Jet Ski experience ,it was so much fun as the tour takes you near some Islands and most of it was done  in high speed. We got to see many starfishs , both of us enjoyed it so much so we consider to take it also next week.

After the tour we went to eat some taco's , nothing special but did  the work. As it was very warm and humid day we decided to go to the Oasis lagoon which was quite full but still enough space  .

We took some drinks from the wet bar , dancing to the music (at least one of us) and swim around. The other parts of the Island was not so as crowd  and the water park was almost empty.

By the way Coco Cay is also the only place the crew can get off and if they do not have assignment on the ship or in the Island they can enjoy it.

Around 2 PM we headed back to the ship , you can see here how hot it was and how one crew member repurpose the servicetray to fight it.

See you next time

I've been looking at the Jet Ski tour and have been on the fence.  Glad to see your positive review, can you tell me how long the tour lasted?

Thanks

Total 1.5 hours , half hour orientation and almost full hours on the Jet Ski  with some stops. I guess it's already depends on the group as you go in one line
