Covid Vaccination Proof for Greek island and Venice. HELP HELP

Recommended Posts

Help. Searching the internet on Venice it says we need to have proof of negative results within 72 hours before arrival and the same for Greece. We want to say in Venice for a few days so would it make sense to do the cruise first and have proof that we are negative and stay in Venice after. I am thinking out loud that when the cruise returns to Venice we would not need proof.

You will likely need proof upon return to Venice,  but you will test onboard which will cover you for your post-cruise stay.

As mentioned on another thread Italy has along with some other European countries introduced legislation that everyone ( local and tourist ) must have proof they are fully vaccinated which is uploaded to an App and shown along with ID to be able enter any premises ( cafe, restaurants, theatres, shops etc etc etc )

No App No Entry
