J3N
Hi Everyone, I have been trolling this site for months so decided to finally sign up!. Your posts are really helpful and informative. Thank you! My October sailing on Odyssey just changed its itinerary from Haiti, Falmouth , Nassau to: Coco Cay, Costa Maya, Cozumel. So excited to board new ship and visit Coco Cay. Couldn't be happier to get switched over from Independence of the Seas to Odyssey. KristiZ, Sharla and Pattie A.

WAAAYTOOO
Do OY July 31 passengers have to be tested preboarding or not ? A friend of mine is on the 7-31-21 sailing and received the following VERY confusing and contradictory protocol update. The first box says that everyone, regardless of vaccination status must present a negative COVID-19 test....but then further down the page under "Testing Requirements", it says clearly that "vaccinated guests do not have any testing requirements". Were they just being lazy by adding this highlighted box with at the beginning, containing updated requirements, and then leaving their original testing requirements statement in there ? If so, I will say that is truly pathetic and very POOR messaging. Things are confusing enough without providing completely contradictory testing requirements ! Odyssey Of The Seas July 31, 2021 Sailing: Important Update For Guests All guests age 2 and older — regardless of vaccination status — will need to take a COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) with an accredited test provider, such as a drugstore chain or diagnostic lab, no more than 3 days before arriving at the terminal for embarkation. Guests will need to show their negative test result upon arriving at the terminal. The results can be printed out, or can be presented on your phone, such as the email result from your test provider. Costs associated with this test are the guests' responsibility. Vaccination Guidelines For sailings departing from Florida in July 2021, we strongly recommend all guests 16 and older be fully vaccinated. To be considered fully vaccinated, the final dose of the vaccine must be completed at least 14 days before sailing. At check-in, guests will be asked to provide documentation of their vaccination, such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card. Those who are 16 and older and do not have or are unable to provide documentation will be considered unvaccinated. Our unvaccinated guests must undergo additional COVID-19 testing at their own expense, and follow the health protocols described below, which are based on guidance from the CDC. We believe that in the coming months, restrictions and requirements will be more accommodating as public health circumstances evolve. All crew onboard Freedom of the Seas and Odyssey of the Seas will be fully vaccinated. Read Detailed Vaccine FAQs Testing Requirements Vaccinated Guests Vaccinated guests do not have any testing requirements. COVID-19 Testing for Unvaccinated Guests As a requirement to sail with us, all unvaccinated guests age 2 and older must undergo multiple COVID-19 tests. Testing at the terminal prior to embarkation and onboard before disembarking will be conducted by licensed and accredited third-party testing providers we have contracted. Our unvaccinated guests must register for this test and agree to the third-party testing provider terms and conditions. Registration details will be sent via email in advance. For unvaccinated guests 16 and older, the total charge from the third-party testing vendor for these tests is $136 USD per guest on sailings of 5 nights or less, and $178 USD per guest on sailings of 6 nights or more. This amount will be applied to the guest’s onboard expense account. Royal Caribbean will pay the testing vendor(s) on the guest’s behalf and will not retain any part of the testing costs. For guests age 2 to 15, we will cover the cost of any required testing. The testing required of our unvaccinated guests is described below. Pre-Cruise Unvaccinated guests 16 years of age and older will need to undergo a PCR test administered by an accredited laboratory of the guest’s choice, and taken no more than three days before sailing. We will require documentation of a negative result for this test prior to embarkation. All costs for this test are the unvaccinated guest’s responsibility. At the Terminal Unvaccinated guests 2 years of age and older are required to take a PCR test when checking in at the terminal, which will be administered by one of our testing vendors. Registration details will be sent via email in advance. Mid-Cruise Mid-way through cruises that are 6 nights or longer, unvaccinated guests 16 and older are required to undergo an PCR test for by one of our testing vendors. Guests will be notified onboard about how to register for this test. Prior to Disembarking While onboard, unvaccinated guests 2 years of age and older will be required to undergo antigen testing within 24 hours of the end of the voyage. This test will be conducted the day before the cruise ends by one of our testing vendors. Guests will be notified onboard about how to register for this test. Vaccinated guests who require an antigen or PCR test for entry into their destination country may receive one onboard at no charge. These tests will be complimentary for guests ages 2-15. Guests under 2 years of age will not be tested. Then again, they state that only unvaccinated need to be tested:

CrznTxn
This is the same protocol that is in place for the Adventure sailings coming up. We were informed of this late last week so we already scheduled our test the 3 days before. WAAAYTOOO
