Pattycruise
I’ve got 4 young adults 18 and up who are getting the deluxe beverage package. I’m supplementing part of their cost. Of course I bought high! Today I looked and while it still shows 20% off- the actual price is $58 per day as opposed to the $67 per day I booked at. (And also said 20%off) Substantial savings when multiplied by 4! I’ll be going on Adventure of the Seas on August 7 out of Bahamas. Are we still allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine per stateroom? If so, does anyone have a recommendation as to where to purchase? I’d love a DBP for me but that would mean hubby has to get one, or get the refreshment package. (He can’t have either for health reasons) So perhaps I can settle on wine.
SpeedNoodles
Yes, you can still bring 2 bottles of wine. I can't speak regarding where to purchase in the Bahamas, though. Pattycruise
Pooch
Be careful, if your original purchase included gratuities, that would be a $58 per day price with gratuities bringing the total to $67 per day. I would add it to cart & see the total before cancelling what you’ve already purchased. ChrisK2793, JLMoran, BrianB and 4 others 6
Sharla
You can cancel and rebook the DX if it is indeed lower now. But yes you can bring up to two bottles of wine per stateroom. Jess S.
Pooch
BTW my drink package dropped to $58 today, the same price as every sale, but with gratuities it jumps to $67.
Jill
Just wondering how you got the deluxe beverage package for those under 21? All sailings out of North America and the Caribbean the drinking age is 21.
Ampurp85
You can only get DBP for those of legal drinking age based on departure port. So even if you are visiting ports where the legal drinking age is 18, you cannot get it. They might be able to get it if you sail from the Bahamas or UK. I saw it in the cruise compass that bartenders would be checking ID’s and when I added the deluxe package for my 29 year old it automatically populates her siblings (aged 22,20 and 18) in the same cabin

Pattycruise
Well fat fingers strike again and I can’t see how to edit the original post from my phone. just received an email from RC that cruises departing in August will now need either a PCR or rapid test completed within 3 days of departure. That would include the Bahamas no? Just don’t be disappointed if they cancel 2 of them. Let us know if they allowed it.

Pooch
Not a fan of younger kids drinking, especially unlimited drinking. JUST MY OPINION. If you don’t want them to have the drink package, you can call RC and have them get the refreshment package instead.
