twangster
July 13, 2021 Huh. What's up with the deck 7 balcony glass? At first I was very curious what this new balcony addition was. It appeared on deck 7 only. It turns out they are replacing the balcony dividers or so it appears. After it passed Jetty Park I relocated to Grills restaurant next to the cruise terminal. Ampurp85
@WAAAYTOOO I was going to say the same thing in regards to the paint I'm like she is looking a smidge rusty I board her Oct 31st and can't wait. Lots of first....Oasis class, 2 Br Grand suite, 3 newbies to RCG, 1st time in Sky Class....and lastly my first ever 7N RCG cruise. Looking slightly less than alluring (see what I did there). Im pretty sure she was due for Amplification when Covid hit. Suspect she will get a dry dock......hopefully before April. CrznTxn
If they do what they have in the past on some of our cruises, the crew cleans and paints parts of the ship when they are in port. Figure that is what they will do when they get started.

I'm sure that she will be painted up when she arrives back at Port Canaveral for her test cruise. We are booked to sail on her in 37 days!!! twangster
I don't think the crew has been allowed off the ship to do routine painting during prior port visits to get new supplies and crew mail over the past many months. Combined with the minimal crewing it hasn't been a priority. Maybe ports will be less restrictive now that crew are fully vaccinated.
