Hilton is ok...it needs updated.  Very slow elevators

Gabriel- Curio Collection, looks quite nice and now may be the closest to the port.  I am staying here in September

Conrad is very nice but further away in Brickell area.

Doubletree Biscayne is in front of Hilton.  @Matt did a review, I have not stayed here

I have stayed at this one and it's a good choice. Connected to a small food court/mall and about a 2-block walk to a grocery store.  Quick 5-minute cab/Uber/Lyft ride to the port, about a 15 minute ride from the airport.  There's a free trolley system on the weekends too to get around and explore the area also.

Anyone have a hotel recommendation for Miami?  I’d prefer a Hilton hotel if possible.

We travel the day before, and stay at the airport Hilton  (just habit) and I collect points.   Not saying its the best, its just personal preference and we're used to it.  Uber to the terminal in the morning.

Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Miami Brickell Downtown. Highly recommend! See TripAdvisor reviews.

I have also stayed here as well.  They have a nice included breakfast and there are a handful of restaurants within walking distance.  We really enjoyed the gastropub immediately next door.
