ScottW3
Hey everyone. I'm looking for confirmation of something. I've read that simply having mlife gold status entitles someone to get $125 in OBC? Is that true? I've called the casino line and they say no. If it is, is it only for cruises booked through Casino Royale or can the OBC be added to an existing reservation? Thanks!

MLife doesn't give you any OBC on Royal. In fact, MLife status does nothing whatsoever for you on Royal Caribbean...that I know of, anyway. Of course, I only have MLife status BECAUSE of my Royal C&A status so maybe those who frequent the land casinos more often than me will know more. That is in line with what I was told from Casino Royale. But based off this website, it would seem otherwise. Very confusing. https://www.mgmresorts.com/en/mlife-rewards-program/preferred-partners/royal-caribbean-and-celebrity-cruises.html

APM
If you are cruising on a MLife comp cruise due to your earned MLife status (gold, platinum or noir) ,that cruise includes an OBC.. gold $125, platinum $200, noir $300. OK, so not just any reservation is eligible. Only a comp cruise? That website doesn't really say that. In fact, gold members don't even get a free annual cruise. Unless it’s a first cruise, most land casino players are also club royale players and the club royale comps are normally better.. and you can’t blend or stack unlike offers WAAAYTOOO

I think you may have called the wrong number…it’s my understanding if you earned MLife Gold status then you get the credit. If you were given Gold status through Royal Caribbean (most people here) then you don’t. How do I access my M life Rewards Benefits with Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises? M life Rewards members must validate their tier status by calling Royal Caribbean at (1-800-762-0702) or Celebrity Cruises at (Platinum & NOIR: 1-888-858-4478; Sapphire, Pearl, & Gold: 1-855-227-2537). Benefits must be requested at the time of the initial booking and at least ten (10) days prior to the cruise’s departure date. AlohaLivin
Happy side note - active military and military retirees can earn a MLife Pearl status for their service via any MLife associated casino (there is a similar program through the Caesars group). I know this is true for the US military, it may include others. Hooo-rah! Neesa and PPPJJ-GCVAB 1

I decided to go ahead and call back today since it had been a while since I called. The rep I spoke with today confirmed that I was eligible for $125 OBC from my Mlife gold status. After a very long hold, however, I was told the sailing I wished to apply it to was not eligible as I had booked it through a travel agent. Since I'm getting $1000 OBC from the travel agent, I'll keep the booking with her. Oh well. At least now I know I had been given incorrect info in the past. And hopefully this helps others. travislife04
Goodness, that isn't a change I like to hear. As indicated by MLife site it says nothing regarding the OBC being applied to the yearly voyage benefit by any means, it records that as a feature of the advantage. As MLife individuals realize that the yearly journey benefit isn't extraordinary for Platinum and lower so I imagine that is a stage down. Cole is entirely learned around there at Celebrity and extremely supportive so I will say that this will be the standard of the land going ahead except if you get a specialist that has not been advised at this point.
