Mike.s
http://crew-center.com/cruise-ship-security-discovers-69-pounds-cocaine-during-vessel-inspection Apparently it was found by Royal Caribbean security while the ship was at Port Everglades, any idea which ship it was?? smokeybandit
If it was truly an RC ship (vs Celebrity) it was Serenade based on port schedules
ConstantCruiser
When this report was first made public I tried to find the cruise line but couldn't. Where did you find reference to it being a Royal Caribbean ship?

NickNafster79
Geez, I know we're all excited about cruising again, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't plan on getting some sleep. AlmondFarmer
ConstantCruiser
My money is on the Jaume II. The port lists this ferry as type "CRUISE - DAILY". It's the only passenger vessel that day that wasn't at CocoCay anchorage. The Jaume II was in Freeport before arriving into PEV. If I'm not mistaken the Jaume II starting doing cargo runs. It started doing cargo runs after the hurricane devastated Grand Bahamas. When COVID hit they suspended ferry service but kept doing cargo runs. Cruise Mapper Article That article makes some really bad assumptions in trying to guess the ship. The incident was June 6 but their sleuthing was making assumptions based on June 12 dock data. SpeedNoodles
It was found while the vessel was off the coast, according to the article. Since many of them hang out without coming into port, it's hard to determine by who was in port that day.
