Anyone heard about capacity on summer cruises

My husband just asked if I knew whether these summertime cruises are supposed to be going at restricted capacity (we are on Indy 8/15 out of Galveston). Anyone heard?

I'm sure something will leak out over the next couple weeks, but they haven't outright announced capacity.  The CSO doesn't list any capacity limits, but only that they reserve the right to reduce capacity

I've been wondering the same thing. My 8/14 sailing of Symphony is no longer available to book (at least, I'm not seeing it), but there were a lot of cabins available when I looked earlier this week, so that made me think that they might be limiting capacity, at least for a bit?

I looked at my October Symphony the other day and there were 60 cabins left. Interestingly, there were some connecting interiors available. Outside view is listed as sold out. I figured there would be no interior cabins available only balcony

Capacity numbers weren't part of the announcement, so we'll have to wait and see.

But why would Royal reduce capacity if there was no CDC requirement to, that just does not make good business sense.  Like you say Matt we will have to wait and see.  May be that cruise hesitance other than from the hard core fan will on its own reduce capacity.
