joshgates
Booked this one as soon as they were released back when it seemed like this was the best hope for sailing this year. Alas it'll be a half working vacation for me, but the views are better and I don't have to make my own bed or drinks.
rjweber3
Looking forward to this one. Booked as soon as it came on the market. As soon as we had booked flights they went up about 2-300%! Amazing! joshgates

Matt
I'm still booked on this sailing. Not sure I'm going, but I have flights booked too. I believe we're coming in a couple days early. J_Keeble
Phillip Diamond Plus
We are tentatively booked on this cruise. We have reserved a hotel before and after in Barbados. (Hope CDC will drop the Covid test requirement for reentering the US by then. We are vaccinated.) We have reserved the refundable flights on Royal Caribbean' s air which looks to save us some money. Exciting itinerary: We are really looking forward to visiting new ports! Trinidad and Tobago should be very interesting; and we especially want to visit Dominica. The pictures look like Hawaii, so beautiful!!
Curt From Canada
A few observations: 1). The refundable upcharge is miniscule. (less than $100). 2). The price for the 14 day (early 2022) was almost exactly the same as this 7 day (the day they released these Grandeur sailings). 3). This is a pretty good ship for combining Drinking and Dancing ... The Centrum has room for both. Curt from Canada
KandM
We booked awhile ago and looking forward to some new locations. Maybe getting this back on the first screen will help others join.
Ken Jensen
We are booked on the 12/26 sailing
BrandonOwen
We’re booked and paid in full. Have a flight in on Dec 3 but if we have to quarantine that makes and early flight no bueno. Anyone hearing anything about this cruise? Grandeur just sits in St Maarten with occasional jaunts out to stretch her legs. KandM
51 days to go. Still very little information about this cruise. With five of the seven stops currently listed by the State Dept. as level 4 - Do Not Travel, It's tough to research tours and things to do on each island. I'm sure some of the independent vendors would love some tourist dollars but it's tough to commit with so little to go by. Are we at the point 'Heads we sail, tails we don't'? davelliott
Matt and Brandon, are you guys still planning on going on this cruise or have you cancelled? I had heard from someone who was also booked on this, but they have since cancelled. I am still scheduled, but I haven't booked flights yet. I am scheduled to go with my aunt, but the price of the tickets from the airport closest to her house are now $766 per person. The flight down isn't bad on the day before the cruise with only one stop and a flight from 5 AM to 2 PM. However, the return flight leaves Barbados around 6 PM and makes 2 stops and doesn't get us back until 11 AM the next day. With this 17 hour flight, I am considering cancelling this cruise to get the future cruise credit. I could use that $766 on excursions for my back 2 back on Allure next April. With the ability to cancel within 48 hours, I don't think I have to decide anything right away.

As of now, I am still planning on sailing. But, I haven't booked flights yet. The Barbados testing requirements may be an issue for me. I am from a small town and I am having trouble finding a location that will do the test that Barbados requires. I will have to place a few calls to see what I can do. My plan was to fly from North Carolina on Saturday, stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Barbados for one night and then head to the ship the next day. J_Keeble
I'm staying 2 days before hand and flying back on disembarkation day. I believe we have to have a test onboard the ship so we can get off on day

Leaves Dec 3 from Ft Lauderdale for 10 nights. Visits St Maarten, St Lucia, St Kitts, Barbados and Antigua. J_Keeble
