There may be some price drops but usually they go up from here. We not in rush to book so time will tell if they have a real sale. Hmm. If that's the case, I guess you have to have a massive amount of disposable income now if you want to afford a cruise on a Royal ship. Time to sail . Anyone have any experience? What are the chances that Anthem is sold out already? I did a mock booking for an oceanview and only the Mid was left. The aft and rear were both "Sold Out".. Is this Royal's way of blocking out certain rooms so that TA's can sell them?

Mid is the most desirable section so would sell out before forward and aft. What cruise did you do a mock booking for?
F1guynz
No cruises for Voyager past March 2026. I wonder what it is doing after its last cruise to the Pacific in March 2026.

F1guynz
@Jamesszy94 I think that is because cabin type is only available midship. When I look at the deck plan for available cabins it goes all the way from front to back. these screen shots show what I mean, I selected the most forward and most rearward cabin and they are both identified as midship. Jamesszy94
Seems like none of Anthem's 2026 New Zealand itineraries include Auckland.

No, due to the size of the ship it does not tend to come here. it used to be tendered but they have also used a temporary pontoon for docking. It also disrupts the ferry service which is not very popular with the locals. There were plans to build a bigger pier but people thought it would stick out too far into the harbour. Hmm that's surprising seeing as how Auckland is New Zealand's largest city. When I was in Auckland last year visiting family, we went to Kelly Tarlton's and could see the Celebrity cruise ship across the harbour. It's very surprising that Picton and Napier both have ports big enough for Ovation, but Auckland doesn't...

There are some on the council that want to move the ports of Auckland up north to free up the land for development so there will not be any investment in infrastructure in the foreseeable future. i think generally speaking the other cruise ships are not as long as Princess and P&O can use the cruise ship facilities. https://www.stuff.co.nz/travel/travel-troubles/130841698/welcome-to-auckland-cruise-passengers-left-at-container-yard-after-buses-fail-to-show-up WAAAYTOOO

And an older carbon copy at that.. EnSeven

Chili
A local agent that says their the biggest cruise specialist has just overhauled their website. Anthem and Voyager have their cruises there and they now have Enchantment in their search engine for Australia. Could it be one of the Radiance class from Alaska??? Serenade is going to be doing Caribbean sailings out of Tampa between September 2024 and April 2025. Then she is going through the Panama Canal and up to Alaska for summer 2025. The big mystery is where she's going after that, as there's nothing showing beyond September 2025. Same for Radiance, nothing beyond September 2025. The lack of any southern Australia itineraries might suggest another smaller ship is in the equation.

I remember back in the day seeing itineraries that took in the whole south or north of Australia but they seem not to be a thing any more, at least not with Royal. I would love to be able to do that as a retirement trip a few years from now.

FionaMG
If you filter the search by each of those ships individually and then by cruise date, you will see that both Serenade and Radiance have nothing showing beyond September 2026, when they finish their summer seasons in Alaska. I would expect at least one of them to do an eastbound Panama Canal sailing. Those tend to be unpredictable in terms of release dates and are sometimes simply put up for sale on random dates with no advance warning. What they would do after the Canal transit is anyone's guess. I would like to see one of them do the longer 10/11 night Caribbean sailings from Florida over the winter, as currently the longest is 8 nights. However, given Royal's recent focus on shorter cruises that may be wishful thinking on my part. As for Ovation, I would expect her to be doing the Singapore sailings. Those are due for release around the middle of next month. Jamesszy94
