Final payment dates changed

I thought  I had read that Royal as temporarily changed the due dates.  When looking at Royal site, they day final payment in June 1 for an august 15th 7 day sailing.  My travel agent is telling me May 15th.  Anyone have insight.

The only itinerary where final payment date has been shortened are 2021 Alaska cruises.

Otherwise, should be same across the board.

Keep in mind some travel agencies set a final payment earlier than Royal Caribbean to avoid a client waiting a day or two from booking from getting their reservation accidentally cancelled.

Also any sailing involving Canada/NE also have had final payment extended to 45 days prior.

Good point, thanks for the correction. I always forget Canada/NE cruises are in the same situation as Alaska.

If you're in a group you could have an earlier final payment date as well.

We have a 9 day cruise NE-Canada for October 2021 and our final payment has not been change but I think we are considered a group as there are several of us going.  I just hope they lift the ban for cruising and for having more than 7 days because I really need a vacation!
