DublinFC
Just wondering if/when formal night is for the short weekend sailings? Thanks.
twangster
Typically isn't one on short sailings. See past cruise compasses here: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/cruise-compass DublinFC
twangster
Short sailings often adopt a "Wear Your Best" approach. If you want to dress up, go for it. Just don't expect everyone else to wear your best, they may be wearing their choice of what's best for them. DublinFC

DublinFC
@twangster Thank you. I know these are more party cruises, but we are taking advantage of some leftover air fare from previously cancelled flights. A quick weekend getaway on a cruise is exactly what is needed. That's the goal... quick getaway with needing to pack formal wear. A lot of people just use a carry on roller suitcase.

twangster
I took a side to side cruise moving between ships. One was a 3 night weekend cruise. I had my scuba diving gear with me. Debarking I had my big XL size suitcase since I had packed for 2 cruises with dive gear. Everyone else in line had little roller bags. They were looking at me like "Dude, it's a 3 night cruise".
