twangster Posted January 25, 2021 Report Share Posted January 25, 2021 Welcome to the message boards. I suggest doing Mayan ruins from Costa Maya instead of Cozumel. KristiZ Posted January 25, 2021 Report Share Posted January 25, 2021 Welcome to the boards! While expensive, the only way I can recommend seeing ruins from Cozumel is to do Chichen Itza by air. KWong Posted January 25, 2021 Report Share Posted January 25, 2021 Chichen Itza is my favourite but it's not one that I'd recommend going to off of a cruise, because you'll be quite rushed. Save that trip for if/when you go to a resort/hotel in Cancun. From Cozumel, Tulum is much closer, but it's not as impressive as Chichen Itza.
