Pooch
Good morning all! Up early and have time to ponder. My brother’s family and mine (all adults - darn kids just won’t go away!!) will be sailing Harmony in March 2022. This was a L & S from Rhapsody. He is in a JR suite and we are in an owners. On Rhapsody this wasn’t an issue because there weren’t that many more perks for us. But on Harmony I think there will be a great many things to which we will and he won’t have access. Can someone fill me in? Thanks
twangster
Full suites have access to Coastal Kitchen for all meals, access to the suite lounge and the services of the suite concierge. Full suites also get free Voom internet, access to the suite sun deck and dedicated seating areas at most entertainment (pre-pandemic) as well as not needing reservations for entertainment (except comedy shows). Some ships offered a suite sailaway party one day on the helipad for full suites. JS does get access to Coastal Kitchen for dinner only on a space available basis but no other access as noted above. You both get to board early on day one. Full suites get an escort to debark off the ship on the last day. You can't extend your additional perks to them. Harmony is a great ship and the extra perks for being in a full suite are well worth it IMO. sammy79, WAAAYTOOO, cruisellama and 2 others
Pooch
Thanks I was afraid it would be this way. He’s never cruised before and the JR suite on Rhapsody was good for him. The price protection of the L & S would make an upgrade VERY expensive so I guess we will just do our best with the situation as is. He is very go with the flow ( unlike his sister!!) so we will manage! cruisellama

Pooch
Hoping to get them into CK for filet mignon night. As far as show reservations, we don’t all have to go at the same time so if I make reservations for more than 1 night based on who wants to go where and when, as long as it’s not more than 4 at a time (# of people in the OS) we can probably all get it at some point? Just pass the gold cards around as necessary?

Once ships start sailing again watch the menus in the app to see when filet night is (it varies by ship). When the suite concierge reach out by email in the days before the cruise starts have you CK reservation requests ready and inquire if the concierge could possibly add them on filet night. Technically they don't have to but it never hurts to ask. The plan B would be to go there as soon as you board and ask the CK host/hostess to make the reservation. Just pass the gold cards around as necessary? If they're scanning cards for reservations it likely pops up the photo, so sharing the cards for entrance is not advised. However access to the suites section you only have to flash the gold card. Honestly as long as you have reservations and arrive early enough finding decent seating at the shows isn't too much of a problem. The suites area is also for D+ and above, so the space there is limited.
