HeWhoWaits
Getting ready to apply a credit from previous cancelled cruise. Anyone with experience doing this yet? Is it simple to attach the info while in Cruise Planner, or are there hoops to jump through?
Matt
I have not done it myself, but I believe it is easy to load the OBC once you have the code. ehw51

Once issued you get a code, then an option to use that code against an existing reservation or deposit toward new reservation will be possible. It will be in the cruise planner. There are some blogs or you can use your TA explaining how to protect your excess FCC if you have some. Some folks have built up a bank of these things. ehw51

I think you're confusing FCC with Cruise Planner Credit. U was told by RCCL CS that there was a box at checkout to input the code. Never saw one. They would not apply it over the phone for my TA either.
Hoski
I did. The link online didn't work so I had to call. I gave them the certificate number and old reservation number then the new reservations number I wanted it applied to. It showed up in my cruise planner within minutes. I got a pop up that said I had credit to use. The remainder of my credit shows up in the top right each time I go into the planner.

I thought the cruise planner credits go right back to your credit card. A while ago, I received a refund for a cruise planner purchased excursion back to my cc (from a cancelled cruise). They gave the option to elect for 125% OBC over a cash refund for Cruise Planner Purchases for some of the cancelled cruises.

Finally got it straight by calling to have the cruise planner credit associated with the booking and then it was just like using any other OBC as noted by @Hoski
Landry_TX
If you opt into the 125% OBC offer can it be spread across multiple future cruises or must it all be redeemed on a single sailing?

You have to apply it to a single sailing. It will be available for you to use for pre-cruise purchases in the Cruise Planner and anything left over will be available to spend onboard. If you don't spend it all before you leave the ship you would lose it. You can always cash it out by charging to your room at the casino cashier as with no casino loyalty status it's only a 5% fee, so you'd still be getting 20% back.
